San Antonio Spurs star rookie Victor Wembanyama had a triple-double on Monday night, but without the most common assists and with 10 blocks.
The 7-foot-4 Wembanyama finished the win over the Toronto Raptors with 27 points, 14 rebounds, 10 blocks and five assists in just 29 minutes of action.
The Spurs are the worst team in the Western Conference and the third-worst team in the NBA, currently 16.5 games out of a spot in the Play-In Tournament.
That makes Wembanyama the main draw for a team not really fighting for playoff position.
The 122-99 victory over Toronto snapped a seven-game losing streak for San Antonio.

As of Monday night, no NBA player had recorded a triple-double with blocks in one of the three categories with a double-digit statistic in more than three years.
Atlanta’s Clint Capela was the last player to have blocks as part of a triple-double in January 2021. That was also the last time, before Wembanyama, that a player blocked 10 or more shots in a game.
The NBA record for most triple-doubles with blocks as one of the three categories belongs to Hakeem Olajuwon, just ahead of Dikembe Mutombo, and two more than former Spurs center David Robinson.
Along with Robinson, the only other Spur to accomplish the feat was Artis Gilmore.
The Spurs’ next game is Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
