Three seasons after reopening the case, CBS is going cold on CSI: Vegas.
The network announced on Friday the end of the criminal procedural revival, in addition to the cancellation of So Help Me Todd after its second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ran for 15 seasons from 2000 to 2015.
CBS announced in 2021 that original stars William Petersen, Jorja Fox and Wallace Langham would reprise their roles for a new series.
Petersen, 71, and Fox, 55, later announced their departure before the second season, although the former remained as executive producer.

Marg Helgenberger joined the revival in the second season, returning to her character of Catherine Willows from the original.

She brings in familiar faces like Gil Grissom (Petersen) and Sara Sidle (Fox) to help out on a case involving her former colleague David Hodges (Langham).
So Help Me Todd stars Skylar Astin as Todd, a struggling private investigator who reluctantly accepts a job at his successful attorney mother Margaret’s (Marcia Gay Harden) law firm.
The cancellations come after CBS previously announced that Young Sheldon would end after seven seasons.
The network also canceled Bob Hearts Abishola after five seasons.

Additionally, the Matlock reboot starring Kathy Bates will finally premiere after it was postponed from the 2023 season amid the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
