Users affected by the outage have flocked to Elon Musk’s X to share their frustrations and see if others are experiencing problems.

Rick Matthews posted: ‘Venmo not working? I never had any issues transferring money until today and now my app crashes when I try to choose an account to transfer to. People on Reddit are saying the same thing.

Another user with the name ‘krill’ also posted on X, tagging Venmo support.

“Hi Venmo, are you having issues with your app? I’m trying to transfer funds to my card or bank and it doesn’t give me the option to do either even though they’re both linked to my account. Please let me know,” he shared.

Venmo’s support page has not acknowledged the outage.
