The Venice Film Festival attracts every year a brilliant crowd of A-listers, all determined to make their tailor's voices on the red carpet.

And Naomi Watts made sure she pulled out of the closet for the star-studded opening night of the 75th ceremony in Sala Grande on Wednesday night, and looked impressive as she stormed the red carpet into a flirty pink strapless dress.

The Australian actress, 49, who is jury member on this year's panel, was joined by model Lottie Moss, 19, who dazzled in a fuchsia-shoulder dress and Claire Foy from The Crown, 34, which exuded elegance in a blush-hued creation.

The impossible actress Naomi certainly played a leading role in the pink dress, with pre-formed rows and effortlessly toned physique.

With a striking pink theme as an accessory, accessorised with a fuchsia-box clutch and a delicate diamond necklace that subtly draws attention to her décolleté.

The King Kong actress formed her golden locks in tangled waves and framed her striking features with a hint of blusher and taupe lip gloss.

Naomi was appointed as a jury member in the panel, consisting of five women and four men in an effort to adjust the imbalances that occurred in previous years.
