Screaming vegan activists ambushed seafood restaurant diners and publicly punished them as “ animal abusers ” in a wild protest against the fishing industry.

The group of four enraged herbivores bombed Sunday night dinners at Bathers Beach House restaurant in Fremantle, south Perth.

At the helm of the crusade was infamous vegan activist Tash Peterson, who has appeared in court for similar stunts and posted a video of the rant on Instagram.

Donning active clothing and a black face mask as the staff tried desperately to help her away, the 26-year-old stormed the room following a pre-written speech about the ‘fish holocaust’ as enraged diners shouted ‘boo’ and told her to ” shut up’.

Standing on a table in front of shocked diners, she launched the rant, calling everyone there “ animal abusers. ”

In response to backlash, Ms. Peterson – known online as Vegan Booty – proudly compared her stunt to gay and women’s rights activists in the 20th century.

“Right now, right now, billions of fish, dolphins, whales and other sea creatures are being ripped out of the ocean in huge trawler nets and choking to death,” she shouted.

“This is the greatest holocaust in history.”

The panicked staff told the group to leave, but Peterson kept shouting “ animal abusers ” at customers repeatedly before ending her rant outside in a bizarre attempt to force guests to reevaluate their choices and go vegan.

A man addressed the protection and attempted to intercept the glamorous blonde while raising her voice, telling guests that “every year 2.7 trillion fish are brutally murdered for human consumption.”

She winced and replied, “Don’t touch me – you’re on camera and I’ll report you to the police.”

The man continued, “You insult people. You insult people. Stop insulting people. ‘

‘If you are not vegan, you are an animal cruelty,’ she said.

Behind her, activists held a banner encouraging people to watch the Netflix documentary Seaspiracy, which is about the global impact of fishing on the environment.

They sang, “Pisces feel pain, just like us.”

Social media users were divided by the stunt, with some of her diehard fans applauding her efforts, but most others knocking her down for ruining people’s evenings.

‘Great work! Where do you please buy these posters, I want to start protests, ‘wrote one woman.

“Thank you for being there and trying to open people’s eyes to the truth,” wrote another.

But someone else said sarcastically, “You really made a difference, Tash, when you interrupted those people eating for two minutes.”

In a follow-up post, Peterson sensationally compared her ‘social change’ protest to a series of historic decisions made in Australia, including a post-1902 ruling giving women the right to vote.

She also said that identification as an LGBT person was decriminalized only after 1975 as a result of protests like hers.

The majority were heavily criticized and disliked them. But within a short time, the majority supported their rights and unjust laws were changed, ”she wrote.

Her restaurant rant is the latest stunt Peterson pulled during her activism.

In December, she stormed a fish market and Woolworths store in Perth before starting a heated rant to dissuade customers from buying meat.

Wearing a waist-high onesie, she painted her body in black and white spots to represent a cow and waved a sign that personified a cow that had been mistreated and tortured.

“They raped me and stole my babies so you can get my flesh,” it said.

Amazed shoppers immediately stopped when Mrs. Peterson urged them to ditch meat and completely overhaul their diet for the sake of the animals.
