The presenter, 61, put on a glamorous display in the neon number that featured chiffon floaty sleeves and was cinched in at the waist.
She teamed her ensemble with a pair of stunning heeled boots, in the same hue, and styled her blonde hair in loose curls.
Vanessa completed her look with a silver eyeshadow stick and added a nude lip gloss to complement her outfit.
At the annual event, a host of news and television personalities go head-to-head in a current affairs contest.
