Valladolid unveil new coach

The Spanish first division soccer team Real Valladolid relies on new impetus from Paulo Pezzolano in the relegation battle.

The 39-year-old took over on Tuesday from Jose Rojo, known as “Pacheta”, who had been sacked the day before. Pezzolano received a contract until the summer of 2024, the Uruguayan had last been on the sidelines in Brazil at Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte.

Promoted Valladolid suffered a 6-0 defeat at Real Madrid last weekend and are just a point clear of the relegation zone.
