Valerie Bertinelli says she will be showing the upcoming 14th season for her Food Network Valerie’s home cooking will be his last.
The star took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of himself promoting the new episodes, which will air on Sunday. She further revealed that Food Network had informed her last year that the show had been canceled, and she expressed disappointment at not being clear on what had triggered the decision.
“The bad news is that this is the last season,” said Bertinelli. “Yes, Food Network canceled us last summer. I have no idea why. Last summer I didn’t say anything because I honestly hoped they would change their minds. (laughs.) But they don’t, so this is it. This is the last season. I loved making this show. It was such a dream come true. Every part of it brought me so much joy.
She continued, “I hope you enjoy this final season because we made every episode with love for all of you.”
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Food Network for comment.
