Valerie Bertinelli was spotted leaving a taping of The Drew Barrymore Show in New York City on Wednesday morning.

The 63-year-old actress flashed a smile as she was escorted through a crowd of fans after finishing her interview.

The artist, who recently opened up about going through some of the most difficult years of her life, dressed in a jet black coat double-breasted over a dark green dress.

Bertinelli also put on a pair of high leather pumps and her beautiful brown hair fell over her shoulders.

The Hot In Cleveland star’s appearance on the show took place just after she told him People that their new relationship was “unlike any connection I’ve ever felt” during a new interview.

Valerie Bertinelli stayed comfortable while leaving a taping of The Drew Barrymore Show in New York City on Wednesday morning.

The interpreter confirmed that she had a new man in her life during a meeting with the media.

Bertinelli described the mystery man as a writer who lives on the East Coast and is 10 years younger than her.

‘I thought it was interesting. It was strictly platonic, but there was something about it that I connected with and that felt familiar. A level of comfort. He felt like a kindred spirit,” he stated.

She affectionately added that her connection with her boyfriend was “mature, kind, thoughtful and patient.”

The actress, who initially connected with her new boyfriend when he commented on one of her Instagram posts, later revealed that they had established a “three-week rule” between them.

“We’ve never gone longer without seeing each other. After all, it’s about finding the joy in life and sharing it,” he said.

Bertinelli later added that although she was happy to have been able to find love again, she didn’t expect to.

‘I’m glad it’s happening. But it’s like, what the hell is going on? It’s a seesaw of emotions,” she stated.
