Valentine’s Day nightmare as a woman two days early 50 wilted roses are sent – only to receive a pack of CRACKERS and some melted chocolate after her friend complains
- A man ordered 100 roses to come home to his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day
- But instead the florist sent just 50 dead roses two days before Valentine’s Day
- When the couple asked for a replacement, they got crackers and chocolate
- Social media users were just as outraged by the company’s poor service
A man ordered 100 roses to come to his girlfriend’s house on Valentine’s Day, just for her to receive two dead flowers two days before February 14.
The woman, from Shellharbour on the south coast of New South Wales, has blamed the online flower delivery company for having her friend’s entire order wrong.
But when the couple confronted the company with their bungled delivery, they were bizarrely compensated with a handful of crackers and some melted chocolate.
The young mother posted a photo on social media of a bunch of dried up dead red roses wrapped in tissue paper.

“DO NOT buy … 100 red roses ordered, only 50 received, paid extra for delivery on Valentine’s Day,” she wrote on a Facebook community page.
“They delivered on the wrong day (the 12th) and every flower was dead.”
The woman mailed photos of the withered bouquet to the company, who told her that they would send fresh roses back to her house.
‘Have I received cookies from water crackers? And off date / melted chocolates worth up to $ 20 and no flowers. Worst company ever! “She wrote.
“The only thing we wanted was a replacement and what we paid for and instead I got off-date chocolates and water crackers … as if that’s just incredible.
“I’m heavily pregnant and emotional, so this didn’t help! But in the end it laughed, it is the thought that counts, we just want our money back because they were not cheap. ”
Social media users were just as outraged by the poor service provided by the florist.
“That’s a shame as a florist, they look like they’re months old. I would go further that they should be ashamed of themselves, “wrote a Facebook user.
“That’s wrong, wrong, wrong … shameful,” another person commented.
‘Go to Fair Trading and complain. This is shameful. How could they have received that order so wrong? Even the remedy and apology was disgraceful, “another said.
“That’s so bad it’s almost laughable !! What was it with the crackers? “
“It looks like you’ve put a fart on them,” another commentator wrote humorously.
