The Valencia players walked off the field during their match with Cadiz after an alleged racist remark aimed at defender Mouctar Diakhaby.
The incident happened after 30 minutes into the game when Diakhaby collided with Cadiz defender Juan Cala, which resulted in a yellow card.
Diakhaby was visibly angry with something said at the time when Cadiz defender Fali and one of his own teammates then stopped him.

The referee then asked for an explanation from Diakhaby before the defender left the field moments later, followed by the rest of his teammates.
Sportsmail understands Diakhaby was devastated after the incident, but Valencia has said he has asked his teammates to return to the field to finish the game.
It is believed that the team would have had to forfeit the match 3-0 had they decided not to finish the match.
The rest of the Valencia players believe Diakhaby and showed this by walking off the field together.

The Valencia players returned to the field without Diakhaby as the club released a statement on their official Twitter account denouncing any form of racism.
They said: ‘The team has held a meeting and decided to continue the game, to fight for the club’s honor, but condemns all forms of racism.
‘We offer our full support to @ Diakhaby_5.
The player, who had received a racist insult, requested that his teammates return to the field. WE SUPPORT YOU MOUCTAR. ‘
Both players were given five minutes to warm up before the game resumed, while Diakhaby chose to watch from the stands.
