A school police officer accused of raping a drunk 16-year-old was also accused of raping his 17-year-old girlfriend after prosecutors realized she was 15 when she became pregnant with his baby.

ElĂas Huizar, 39, was arrested after his girlfriend reported him for the attack on her friend who was spending the night at his home in West Richland, Washington.

It has now emerged that the former Yakima police officer filed for a protective order against his girlfriend when she was 13 and told her friends they had been sleeping together.

The girlfriend had gone to sleep in a spare room with her 16-year-old friend, who was feeling unwell after the three spent the night drinking at the house on Feb. 3, according to court documents.

She then woke up to find Huizar attacking her drunk friend before leaving the room “as if nothing had happened” when she confronted him.

Huizar allegedly pursued the couple as they fled in their truck with the nine-month-old baby, only stopping when the girls arrived in Benton City and stopped next to a Benton County sheriff’s deputy.

He Herald of the three cities reported that Huizar obtained a protective order against his now-girlfriend in 2019 after she told her friends they were in a relationship and the friends reported him to the school principal.

The girl denied this and claimed that her account had been hacked when social media posts about the alleged relationship were revealed.

‘A criminal investigation was initiated by the Attorney General’s Office and the case was found to be unfounded,’ Huizar wrote in his request for a protective order.

“(She) was then expelled from school.”

The petition claimed that the girl had contacted Huizar’s then-wife, downloaded photos from the couple’s Facebook pages and taken “numerous” surreptitious photographs of Huizar.

Yakima County Judge Gayle Harthcock approved the protective order that prevented the girl from coming within 500 feet of him or his family for a year.

Huizar and his wife divorced in 2020, and the girl claims in court documents that Huizar contacted her in 2022 when she was 15 years old and they began a relationship.
