Devan shared the video of the meeting on TikTok on May 29 and it has quickly gone viral, with 14.2 views.

In the clip, Devan sits in the front of his mail truck, jams to music and drinks a bottle of juice.

Suddenly a woman is seen outside his window. She knocks repeatedly and calls out, “Hello!”

‘Can I get my mail? You’ve been here for 30 minutes!’ She complains.

However, Devan just ignores her and continues to enjoy his music – not even glancing at her.

The woman gets angry and bangs on the window again before telling him, “I’m calling your supervisor.”

Commenters have praised and defended Devan for refusing to let a ‘Karen’ disrupt his lunch break.

‘Oh my god just go home girl! HE. BRINGS. IT. TO. U. That’s how this works,” wrote one.

“I’d sit for another minute and then drive/deliver if I could. You deserve every minute of that break. Get far away from that person. Stay safe!’ said another.

“Customers don’t care that you’re having lunch… they keep nagging,” one commented, while another wrote, “God forbid we take a break.”

“People think they own postal workers and can talk to them and treat them in any way,” said another.

Another simply liked Devan’s attitude, writing, “I want to be so undisturbed in 2021.”

Surprisingly, however, Devan’s interaction with the woman took a turn.

The next day, he posted a follow-up clip showing the couple hugging a white wooden fence outside.

“The next day, after his 30-minute lunch, she got her mail,” it read.
