The rosters for the United States men’s and women’s soccer teams have officially been released, and the Cooligans (minus Alexis) are here to break down how each team shapes up, including one notable omission and one controversial inclusion.

Christian Polanco sits down with guest host Christine Cupo of CBS Sports to discuss Diego Luna’s disappointment at being left off the men’s team and why his desire to not be a substitute has hampered the team’s bench options. They also discuss Korbin Albert’s addition to the women’s team following his controversial actions on social media.

Also in this episode, Christian and Christine give a rundown of all the latest action from the Copa America, including Canada making the United States look bad by advancing to the semifinals after penalty kicks and Uruguayan coach Marcelo Bielsa’s viral post-match comments.

They then discuss the pressure the England team faced in their clash with Switzerland when the match had to be decided on penalties. They close the show by discussing the controversy surrounding the San Diego Wave FC and its president Jill Ellis following allegations of harassment and abuse within the NWSL club.
