The U.S. men’s national team was dragged down by disappointment once again under head coach Gregg Berhalter, this time being eliminated from the Copa America in the group stage following their 1-0 loss to Uruguay. While it was not a surprising result given their performance in the tournament, not advancing to the knockout stage can only be seen as another failure for the U.S. men’s national team.

Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros break down the U.S.-Uruguay match, including the team’s utter failure to advance out of its group, whether Gregg Berhalter’s days at the helm are numbered and the cryptic Instagram post from former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp that has many wondering if he could be the next USMNT manager.

Also in this episode of The CooligansChristian and Alexis discuss the thrilling match between Argentina and Ecuador, which saw Lionel Messi’s side advance in the Copa del Rey despite Kevin Rodriguez’s late heroics that forced an epic penalty shootout. They then discuss the suspensions handed out to Merih Demiral and Jude Bellingham for their antics in the match and why Eli Martinez probably won’t get a ban.
