Team USA defeated Nigeria during the women’s basketball quarterfinals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, bringing their unbeaten record at the Olympics to an astonishing 59-game streak, meaning they will compete against Australia in the semifinals on Friday, August 9. The other two teams making it to the semifinals are France and Belgium; their match will also be played on Friday. The winners of each match and the losers of each match will compete in the gold and bronze medal finals, respectively, on Sunday, August 11.

The USA-Australia match will be played at the Bercy Arena in Paris and will be broadcast live on Peacock on Friday morning. There were 12 women’s basketball teams competing at the 2024 Olympic Games. France was automatically selected as the host country. The other countries that qualified are listed below:
