The par-3 12th hole during the first round of the US Women’s Open proved so difficult that Rachel Rohanna found time to change her daughter’s diapers.
The challenging hole at Lancaster Country Club resulted in tee wait times lasting between 45 and 50 minutes.
With four groups waiting to play, Rohanna found time to check on her family and help with an accident involving her eight-month-old daughter, Greenlee Kay.
“I was talking to my husband, and I looked down and saw my youngest son just going to the bathroom everywhere,” Rohanna said.
“I was like, ‘Ethan!’ So I got them inside the ropes, we went into a roped off area and we changed it. It was a two-man effort to figure it out.

The 45- to 50-minute wait to play the par-3 hole gave Rohanna time to see her family.
After helping her daughter, Rohanna made par on the hole, which averaged 3.8 in the first round. However, world number one Nelly Korda scored a 10 on the hole.
Rohanna has LPGA status but plays primarily on the Epson Tour. His family’s heroics didn’t stop him from shooting 76 in the first round.
Rohanna is the only player on the Keystone State home field and resides on a cattle ranch in Waynesburg.
After winning her first Epson Tour title in 2015, Rohanna bought a heifer to celebrate the victory.
