“And that’s why we wanted to give her sensual, sexy curls instead of beachy waves,” she continued.

To bring her vision to life, Rhamani used Julien Farel’s Restore Shampoo, along with the salon’s volumizer to give it texture and bounce.

While curling the tennis player’s hair, Rhamani admitted that they really had to “work” the volumizer, as they were dealing with a rain storm that night and wanted to make sure everything really stayed in place.

Thankfully, that was the case, and Sabalenka looked stunning as she took her photos for the championship shoot and beyond.

“She already has amazing hair… so I was already working with fantastic material, as they say,” he said of the tennis champion. “It’s an amazing canvas.”

As for makeup, Sabalenka’s makeup artist Monika Crouch was aiming for a luminous, bronzed look to match her post-match glow.

It was also important to Crouch to ensure that Sabalenka’s natural beauty was highlighted.

“I looked at some pictures of makeup I’d worn before and looked for something that was very classic,” Crouch explained to DailyMail.com.

The makeup artist only had 20 minutes to complete the look, so she had to work quickly, starting with the $69 payment. Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation and I mixed it with a little bit of IT Cosmetics’ $47 CC cream which has an illuminating finish.

She then applied Saie’s $32 Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer in the shade medium, along with a touch of Westman Atelier’s Peach Highlighter, as well as Rare Beauty’s $23 Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Nars’ Concealer.

However, there was one element of her eye look that Crouch wasn’t so sure about at first: whether or not to give the tennis star eyelashes.

But she ended up doing it and tells DailyMail.com that it helped her achieve a complete makeup look.

“It always opens your eyes and is great for photographs without looking overbearing or pushy,” Crouch said.

She used Ardell Naked Lashes in size 420, which she calls ‘beautiful,’ explaining that they are ‘short’ but ‘full.’
