Coco Gauff continues today the defense of her US Open title against her fellow American Emma Navarro, whom she beat at Wimbledon in July in the fourth round.

Frances Tiafoe resumes his quest to become the first American to claim the US Open title since Andy Roddick 21 years ago when he takes on Alexei Popyrin, who sensationally eliminated Novak Djokovic on Friday, in the night session.

“He’s a very clever player. He probably has one of the best hands on tour, he comes to the net a lot and he likes to mix things up,” Popyrin said. “That’s going to be the difficult part.”

Alexander Zverev and Aryna Sabalenka are also in action, while Britain’s Heather Watson is playing in the women’s doubles.
