Security footage taken along the US-Mexico border in Texas shows a US soldier opening a gate to let migrants in just days after Joe Biden let Title 42 expire.
The video, shared by FOX LA’s Bill Melugin, shows a large group crossing from the Mexican side of the border into the United States as a large white bus appears to be waiting for them.
The minute-long clip shows the female army officer standing as the horde marches towards private property on Monday morning.
It is said to have been done under the direction of the federal government.
The video comes just hours after Biden applauded a drop in border crossings since Title 42 ended with a swipe at the media.
Asked by reporters how he thought things were going after Title 42 expired, Biden replied, “Much better than you all expected,” with a chuckle.

Asked by reporters how he thought things were going after Title 42 expired, Biden replied, “Much better than you all expected,” with a chuckle.
According to Melugin, the Texas National Guard confirmed that the woman seen opening the door in the video was not a Texas soldier or a member of the Texas National Guard.
“I’m told she is a Missouri ARNG Title 10 Trooper under Federal Government orders and working with BP,” the FOX reporter wrote.
The video uploaded sparked outrage among Twitter users who
“I am not against immigration, our country was built on it, it is our strength, but I am not for an uncontrollable invasion of immigrants to serve the nefarious purposes of an illegitimate government,” wrote one. user.
“Thank goodness there’s a camera over there so we can all watch them pass in an orderly fashion,” another shot back.
“It’s harder to get into most secure office buildings,” one added. ‘Ridiculous.’
Since Biden let the pandemic-era policy expire, crossings have dropped by about 50%.
Experts say the drop could be accounted for by migrants and smugglers taking advantage of their status as they assess the new regulatory regime.
The number of crossings is expected to increase further, some said.
Title 42 authorized the United States to deny asylum to migrants seeking asylum.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Biden said his administration still has work to do as migrants fill processing centers to capacity.
“They’ve come down, hopefully they’ll keep coming down, and we still have a lot of work to do,” Biden said while biking near his beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware.
Many migrants are being released back onto the streets with immigration court appearances set for 2023.
A Venezuelan told the Washington Examiner he faces an Oregon court date in a year – and his mother ‘has been told to wait 10 years before she can see a judge’.
A 39-year-old Venezuelan was ordered to appear in court on March 11, 2027.
“And we also need additional help from Congress in terms of funding and legislative changes,” Biden said.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkasappeared on ABC’s “This Week” to convey the message that the Biden administration had succeeded in announcing that the country’s borders were not open.
DailyMail.com was at the border in Yuma, Arizona, on Thursday night when hundreds of people rushed to enter the United States before Title 42 ended.
But the next morning, the place was almost deserted. Experts said they believe migrants and smuggling gangs are trying to get to grips with a new set of immigration policies.
Mayorkas admitted it was still too early to say the numbers had peaked, but he said Washington’s message was getting through.
“We have communicated a vitally important message very clearly to people considering arriving at our southern border: there is a legal, safe and orderly way to get to the United States,” he said.
