A creep in a white van offers candy to children outside a school in Hobart, police have warned.
The man was seen near two bus stops in South Hobart before school started on Friday morning, Tasmania Police Detective Inspector Craig Joel said.
“Although no children have been hurt or assaulted, this man offered them candy and his intentions are unclear,” she said.

‘Parents and caregivers are urged to talk to their children about ‘stranger danger’ and personal safety measures.
“Children should be encouraged to walk with adults or friends, be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious behavior to school, parents or the police.”
The man is believed to be in his 70s with white hair.
