A frantic search has been launched for a 12-year-old boy last seen getting into a person’s car at a shopping center in Queensland.
The boy was last seen at a shopping center on High Street in Stanthorpe, in the Southern Downs region of the state, at around 5.40pm on Friday.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
The 12-year-old boy may be traveling in a gold 2008 Holden Commodore sedan with QLD registration 660KS5 to the Ipswich area, police said.

Police are concerned for the child’s well-being as the disappearance is not normal.
The boy is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 140cm tall, with a proportional build and red hair. They were last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black slip-on shoes and a black cap.
“Police are asking the boy, or anyone with information about his whereabouts, to come forward,” a police spokesman said.
