“In a small number of cases, a dairy-free labeled lid may be on a tray of frozen chocolate.”

The recall is for dessert baking with an expiration date of March 28, 2021 and batch code 9088.

The product is sold in Coles and Woolworths stores across the country.

The ice can pose a food safety risk to anyone with a dairy allergy or intolerance.

Buyers can return the chocolate candies to the place of purchase, where they will receive a full refund.

Halo Top Australia has a number of dairy-free flavors for vegan eaters, among the standard range of dairy products.
