Panasonic has made an urgent recall about a model of their headphones due to fears that they could become moldy.

The technology giant has recalled headphones and case with model number RP-HD610N, as they may pose a risk to those with weak immune systems.

The recall is due to a manufacturing defect on the inside of the headphone housing.

“Production residues may remain on the inner pocket of the carrying cases supplied with the headphones and mold may develop (Aspergillus),” says a Panasonic product safety reminder.
