Urgent recall of popular protein bars sold in a major supermarket over fears they could harm allergic customers

  • Fresh Food Enterprises has issued the recall for their IQ bars
  • The bars were sold at independent grocers and IGAs
  • The recall was issued due to an unclaimed allergen: milk










A recall has been placed on IQ Bars due to the presence of undeclared milk in the products.

Fresh Food Enterprises has issued a recall for the following items:

IQ Bar Chocolate Sea Salt 45g Best before June 10, 2022; IQ Bar Peanut Butter Chip 45g Best before June 11, 2022; and IQ Bar Almond Butter Chip 45g Best before April 14, 2022.

The bars were on sale at independent stores and IGA supermarkets in NSW, the ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Customers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not eat these products and must return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
