A UPS delivery driver in California was caught on camera putting up a series of small ‘Donald Trump’ signs supporting the Republican presidential candidate as he made his rounds and delivered packages across the street.

Homeowner Shelly Bailes, who supports Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, saw nearly a dozen small Trump flags placed throughout the front yard of her home in Davis, near Sacramento.

He quickly learned who was responsible for the political stunt after reviewing surveillance footage from the home.

In the video he saw the driver who had been making deliveries nearby placing the flags among the pebbles in his front yard.

“I wasn’t delivering a package to my house, I was delivering across the street,” Bailes said. KCRA. “I saw on my Ring that he put something on my lawn.”

Bailes reported the incident to UPS, prompting an internal investigation into the driver, although no crime was committed.

‘I was very surprised when I saw them. I was upset,” Shelly Bailes said. ‘He really doesn’t have any rights. He’s trespassing on my lawn.

‘I have no idea why he did it. “I can’t imagine what he thought he would gain from these little signs,” Bailes said.

The Trump signs are small, making the driver’s actions even more disconcerting.

‘I was very surprised when I saw them. ‘I was angry,’ she continued. ‘He really doesn’t have any rights. It’s invading my lawn.

“We respect the right of all Americans to support their chosen candidate, however, we ask our employees to express their political opinions on their own time,” UPS said in a statement.
