Up to 20 vehicles have been involved in a collision on a Pennsylvania highway, officials say.
There have been many casualties after the crash on I-81 in Schuykill County, which closed the road Monday morning.
The crash was reported just before 11 a.m. at exit 116 of the icy highway.
Shortly after the accident was first reported, Matt Catrillo, a journalist at a local radio station, tweeted that several vehicles were still on fire and people were trapped.
Video footage of the wreckage shows several trucks and cars lying along the snowy highway as smoke billows into the air.
It is not known what caused the accident and it is not known how long the road will be closed.
