“Therefore, we must adhere to our plan to reduce inflation by half and help families in terms of the cost of living, while continuing reforms in child care and support for the elderly and people with special needs who wish to work,” he added.
The annual inflation rate in the United Kingdom remains high, as the rise in food prices offsets the effect of falling energy prices.
