Unbelievable video shows Amazon delivery truck being split in HALF by train in destructive accident that the driver somehow survived

This is the incredible moment an Amazon delivery truck was split in half by a train and the driver miraculously survived the destructive accident.

Alexander Evans was driving the truck near River Valley Road in Ixonia, Wisconsin, about 40 minutes from Milwaukee, in November 2021.

The images of the strange moment were obtained by TMZ. The truck’s dashboard camera was seen as the Amtrak train crashed into the delivery vehicle, splitting it in half.

Evans previously said WISN 12 News that he is deaf in his left ear and at the time of the accident he did not initially hear the train horn.

He also noted that there were no signs, warnings or lights to alert Evans of an approaching train.

‘Literally, it was like a long beep, the train horn, and I put my foot on the accelerator, like I was trying. “I don’t know how far I’m going to get away from him,” Evans said.

The lucky driver, who is also a husband and father of two girls, told the outlet that the shocking incident occurred on his 30th birthday.

The video begins with Evans driving the truck, buckled in his seat, with a face under his mouth.

He keeps his eyes on the road ahead of him as he turns at some point and looks both ways.

As he approaches the end of the curve, the train passes him and an air pocket instantly hits him and he jumps slightly from his seat.

The entire back of the vehicle was quickly removed, leaving only the two front seats and Evans in the truck.

The rearview mirror soon detached from the car and is seen dangling as Evans watches as the long train continues to pass directly behind him.

The driver, who lost his purple hat in the chaos, then shakes his head in disbelief as he looks into the distance and tries to take in what happened.

Evans then removes his seat belt as he walks over to the passenger seat and reaches for his phone.

The second part of the video shows a different view of the near-fatal accident facing the road.

Evans drives the truck down the road just before reaching the tracks.

When he almost makes it across, the windshield cracks from the impact of the crash.

After the collision, Evans was taken to the hospital because he suffered minor injuries and pain.

When the train hit his truck, Evans said he felt “the air and the pressure.”

‘I felt the air pockets. To be honest, I didn’t know what to feel,” she said.

‘I just tried. I looked as I went down the hill to detour and saw nothing. He was on my left side,’ she added.

After the harrowing moment, Evans said he felt more precautions needed to be taken to alert the driver of approaching trains.

He added that he was beyond grateful to have survived, but still couldn’t believe he had made it out alive.
