Ultra-high-resolution aerial photos reveal some of the most amazing mega cities in the world
Aerial photos with ultra-high resolution of & # 39; mega cities in the world portray life from above for the 55 percent of the population living in busy metropolises.
Photographer Ryan Koopmans, 33, traveled around the world for ten years to capture the greatest triumphs of humanity, touring Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America and summarizing the views while he went.
Now, ten years later, Koopmans has published his compilation entitled benefit like a book with some of & # 39; the world's most awesome views in the most populous cities.
His photos show the astonishing variation in architecture in places such as Dubai, Singapore, London, South Africa, Rotterdam and Chicago.
But with the world's population growing at an unprecedented rate, the emerging megalopolises all have one thing in common: they are densely populated, with 4.14 billion people, more than half the population.
The Dutch-Canadian photographer said: & # 39; I have been working on travel, documentary and architectural photography for the past decade and have therefore been very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit many places around the world.
& # 39; What interests me most are not specific buildings or monuments, but the polite experiences of the people who deal with them.
& # 39; The growth of the world population has led to rapid urbanization and the emergence of mega cities. & # 39;
To capture the masterpieces, the award-winning photographer searches for the dazzling heights of a skyscraper, on the roof or in the mountains.
Add: & # 39; I sometimes use a drone, but I'd rather not, because shooting with the hand camera gives me more control over the frame and higher resolution. & # 39;
