But it didn’t sit well with Swedish-British broadcaster and TV personality Ulrika Jonsson, 55, who gave her scathing opinion on the ‘nonsense’ post, calling actress Maisie ‘self-indulgent’ and ‘very dramatic’.
Ulrika’s response prompted Max to take to his Instagram page and give Ulrika the middle finger, and she has now hit back, his comeback and his reported cheating on ex Stacey Giggs.

After insisting she still stands by her comments about Maisie, Ulrika wrote in The sun: ‘You really are the gift that keeps on giving. It was really very sweet of you. You should know how much I love me a middle finger.
‘And this was your response to the fact that I made a perfectly reasonable criticism of your friend Maisie Smith last week.’
Referring to Max’s alleged cheating on his ex Stacey, Ulrika blurted out: ‘So, it’s nice to know I’ve been on your mind, Max. Despite the fact that you already have a girlfriend.

‘Oh, stop it. . . that’s your style, isn’t it? Being with one woman and thinking of another.’
In August, Stacey accused her ex Max of cheating on her with his Strictly co-star Maisie.
In a conversation with one of her friends, she told her heartbreak about the situation and explained how she feels ‘betrayed’ by the star.
The sun reported that Stacey told a friend: ‘To see them dating in public so soon after I dumped him is like a dagger to the heart.

‘After everything I’ve done for him, I can’t believe he would be so rude and disrespectful. He is a lying dog. I feel betrayed.’

Harsh words: Ulrika hit out at Max’s love life, hitting out at his alleged cheating on Stacey Giggs (pictured)
‘Surely, grief, bereavement, personal trauma or grief is something private – not something you milk?
‘To do what Maisie did, which was to accompany her tears with a cryptic message and dramatic music that had everyone tearing their hair out in concern for her, full of fear – and then in a subsequent post to be pictured with the face from her friend as if nothing happened at all is insulting.’
And in response to Ulrika’s sharp words, Max came to his girlfriend’s defense with a very direct Instagram post.
Max shared with his 360,000 followers on his Stories, and wrote ‘Just for you Ulrika’ next to a snap of him standing in an elevator with his middle finger to the camera.

Her post prompted a flurry of comments from Maisie’s fans expressing their concern, with one writing: ‘Hope you’re doing better! You are amazing and so inspiring.’
