Ukraine war: Britain is at war with Russia, Kremlin’s TV propogandist Vladimir Solovyov told viewers

Moscow state television hosts have claimed Britain is at war with Russia in another outburst of propaganda.

Vladimir Solovyov – nicknamed ‘Putin’s Voice’ – concluded in a discussion about a British volunteer who died in Ukraine that ‘Britain is at war with us’.

He spoke to political scientist Vladimir Kornilov on a leading Russian show about the death of Jordan Gatley.

Gatley, who left the British army in March, was reported to have been killed in the eastern city of Severodonetsk earlier this month.

Kornilov claimed that the volunteer’s father said he left the British Army to “serve elsewhere” and that Britain now “glorifies these mercenaries as heroes.”

He then stated that the UK “admits the fact of war”, to which Solovyov replied to Russia-1: “So – de facto – Britain is at war with us.”

It comes at a time when former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev – a close ally of Vladimir Putin – suggested that Ukraine would not be on the world map in two years.

‘I read his father’s Facebook message, his father’s grief, understandable. He has lost his son,” Kornilov said.

But he writes there that he served in the British Army until March of this year, when he decided – this is very important – to continue serving in other regions.

“So he didn’t even think of leaving. As I understand it, he didn’t leave. So he must be assigned to some service.’

British reports have even made it clear that he left the army before volunteering to fight in Ukraine.

And Dean Gatley, John’s father, didn’t call him “serving” on social media.

Instead, Gatley wrote: ‘Jordan left the British Army in March this year to continue his career as a soldier in other areas. [.. and] went to Ukraine to help.’

But propagandist Vladimir Solovyov — aka “Putin’s Voice” — stepped in and claimed, “The father admits de facto the involvement of British troops in the conflict.”

Kornilov replied: ‘Very right’ [….] Under British law, if he actually joins another foreign army and fights a country that is not officially at war with Britain, he is a mercenary.

So it turns out that Britain is now glorifying these mercenaries as heroes and admitting the fact of being at war with the Russian Federation. There is no other explanation.’

Solovyov stated: ‘So – de facto – Britain is at war with us.’

He threatened: ‘So it’s up to comrade’ [Dmitry] Rogozin [Putin’s space chief] – suggest he should target hypersonic Sarmat [Satan-2] missiles on Britain.’

In his explosion, the outspoken Medvedev also taunted the West by claiming that Ukraine would not exist by 2024.

The former Kremlin president – who had his finger on the Russian nuclear trigger between 2008 and 2012 – said: ‘I saw a report that Ukraine wants to receive LNG [Liquified Natural Gas] from his overseas masters under a Lend-Lease treaty, with payment for delivery in two years.

‘Otherwise it will just freeze to death next winter. Just a question. Who said Ukraine will be on the world map at all in two years?

“Although the Americans don’t care anymore, they are so involved in the anti-Russia project that everything else is not for them.”

Medvedev also claimed that the West will reap the main harvest from sanctions against Russia as its economies plummet.

“We are eagerly awaiting yet another European sanctions package and great sanctions solutions from Grandfather Joe [US President Joe Biden] about which the makers of these sanctions immediately begin devising plans to circumvent them,” he said.

But some politicians in the West are now realizing that “they cannot survive without our country,” he added.

He then said: ‘Otherwise they will not get: food for their citizens, fertilizers to produce food for their citizens, energy sources for food production and heat for their citizens, metals and other products to produce machines and mechanisms for their citizens, fuel for European and US nuclear power plants that produce 20-40% of their citizens’ electricity.’

Medvedev, who is now deputy head of Putin’s Security Council, also warned: “I won’t repeat on inflation, prices for all types of fuel and predictions of a collapsing economy.

‘All information is freely accessible. And this is only the first month of summer. We are waiting for the fall, when they will have to harvest the main sanctions.

‘Meanwhile, the steam engine of their… [economies] of services and digital currencies are heading towards a wall at full speed.’

Solovyov also demanded that there be “no ceasefires” with Ukraine. In an outburst on state television, he said, “Hands in the air, surrender, that’s it.

“There must not be any truce… They are afraid of losing the entire Black Sea region. They understand that we will not stop.

“They understand it’s crucial for us to reach Transnistria, that’s it, period.”

Transnistria is a Russian army-controlled strip of land in Moldova, bordering western Ukraine.

“The way the Nazi regime is behaving is clear why they need a ceasefire – to get more weapons, to train, to bring in Western weapons,” he said.

Total unconditional surrender. And then a tribunal in Lviv for the whole gang of Ukro-Nazi criminals.

‘All to sit in the harbour’ [starting with Volodymyr Zelensky]† They will be condemned by the Ukrainian people for the crimes committed by these Ukro-Nazis.”

Solovyov also interviewed a studio guest — Moscow-born political scientist Yakov Kedmi (pictured) — on his demand that the two British fighters, sentenced to death in the Donetsk People's Republic, be exchanged for high-profile prisoners in the West.

‘One Englishman to trade for’ [Julian] Assange [jailed WikiLeaks founder, held in Britain pending a US extradition. request]who will have the right to travel to any country in the world,” he said.

The second is to be traded with Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who is in prison in the US.

Solovyov – who often expresses the Kremlin’s opinion – said: “A good idea, I like it.”
