Tensions have flared outside the property where a mother of six was allegedly murdered by her husband, as the couple’s grieving son ordered his paternal grandmother to leave the grounds on Tuesday morning.

Natalie Galcsik, 46, was allegedly run over several times by her husband Steven, 47, at their home in Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, shortly after 6pm on Friday.

Steven has been refused bail, charged with domestic violence murder, while the couple’s adult son Alex, 20, has been left to care for his four younger siblings.

Speaking outside the family home on Tuesday, Alex told Daily Mail Australia that he and his younger siblings were “doing well” under the circumstances.

But as Alex spoke, a truck towing a white sedan pulled up to the property, the site of the family’s luxurious bed and breakfast.

Moments later, the woman believed to be Alex’s paternal grandmother, Victoria Galcsik, arrived at the house in a blue 4×4 and attempted to speak to him.

“I need you to leave or I’ll call the police,” Alex told him as soon as he got out of the vehicle.

‘I don’t want to talk about it. I’m fine. I need you to go.

He continued: “I’m sorry, but I need to take care of my family.”

When approached by Daily Mail Australia, the woman refused to answer questions about her son or the charges.

After leaving the premises, she was seen inspecting a nearby $1.49 million property for sale in Pokolbin.

Daily Mail Australia understands Victoria and Steven had a tumultuous relationship, with records showing the couple were involved in a civil court matter between each other in recent years.

The Galcsik family ran the luxury bed and breakfast business for seven years after purchasing the 40-hectare property for $1.45 million in 2017.

Detectives are investigating whether the Galcsiks, who had no police record for domestic violence, were dealing with marital problems before their deaths.

Police will allege that Steven ran over his wife several times before his relatives physically intervened and called emergency services.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Natalie died at the scene. Steven was arrested at the property and appeared at Newcastle Local Court on Saturday, where he was refused bail.

An application for an AVO has been made between Galcsik and his adult son, who is due to appear at Cessnock Local Court next month.

According to online publications, Ms. Galcsik was a horse enthusiast and member of the region’s equestrian community.

She also loved dogs and was interested in spirituality and holistic wellness practices, such as reiki.

Alex remembers his mother as an incredible and dedicated mother to her six children.

“My mother dedicated her life to raising me and my siblings with selflessness and love despite difficult circumstances,” she wrote on GoFundMe.

“She was the best mother we could have asked for.”

Another friend described Natalie as a wonderful person and said she was heartbroken for her five children.

“Anyone who knew Natalie and her amazing children would know how kind and selfless she was,” the friend said.

Steven appeared in court again on Monday, where he was again denied bail.

Their next confrontation will be on November 27, before Newcastle Local Court.
