UFC champion Jon Jones has admitted that he would like to have the opportunity to switch to WWE in the near future.
The 32-year-old successfully defended his light-heavyweight world title with a controversial points win over Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 on Saturday night.
The win saw Jones extend his record to 15-0 in title battles – more wins than anyone in the history of the UFC.
UFC champion Jon Jones has admitted that he will probably switch to WWE one day
Although Jones still has ambitions to keep fighting in the octagon, he has revealed that one day he will most likely switch to WWE.
“I think it’s inevitable,” Jones said Sport illustrated. “I have always respected WWE and I feel that the sports can look so similar.”
If Jones ever crossed over to WWE, he would follow in the footsteps of various UFC hunters – including Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar, against whom he fought a long time in the octagon.

Although Jones is one of the largest and most valuable stars in the UFC, with a strong attraction for generating pay-per-view purchases, the WWE can be reluctant to work with him, given his blocked history.
The American hunter has driven under the influence of the charges against him, was involved in an incident and has not passed multiple drug tests in the past.
Jones is convinced, however, that he has the capacity to be successful in the industry if given the chance.
He added: ‘I have the size and the athletics to switch very well. Getting the chance to just appear, even as a special guest, would be a dream come true. ”
