Arman Tsarukyan has been filmed appearing to punch a fan in a furious altercation during his strike at UFC 300.
The UFC star was heading to the octagon as he greeted fans on his walk before the showdown.
The video showed Tsarukyan throwing punches at a spectator, with the motive behind this unclear.
A Nevada commissioner was forced to intervene and drag Tsarukyan moments before fighting Charles Oliveira.
The fighter defeated Oliveira by split decision after an early scare in the first round, escaping a choke.

However, before entering the ring, the UFC star was filmed in an angry altercation with a fan.
Tsarukyan landed a series of takedowns and opened up Oliveira with a hard elbow before surviving a submission attempt in the final round.
Speaking about the altercation with the fan after the fight, Tsarukyan revealed what led him to punch the fan.
He said: ‘He showed me that he wanted to punch me and I wanted to punch him back.’ That’s all.
‘It doesn’t matter who you are, I’ll punch you in the face.
‘You can show me from 200 meters that I’m not going to hit you, but when you’re close to me it’s automatic.
‘I’m from Russia, please don’t do that. Or I will go to prison in the United States.
It’s unclear what’s next for the UFC star, but he could be in line to fight UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev following his big win at UFC 300.
With wins over Damir Ismagulov, Joaquim Silva and Beneil Dariush, Tsarukyan maintained his impressive record by defeating Oliveira.
