Joe Rogan had fans rooting for him to fight after the UFC commentator and podcast host posted a video of himself hitting a heavy bag.

“Bro should train (for) the UFC,” one user suggested, while another commented, “He’s a beast.”
“He’d probably beat Jake Paul too,” a third suggested. A fourth user claimed: “He’s ready,” after the previous commenter said: “Imagine getting kicked like that.”
Fans have insisted Joe Rogan is ‘ready’ for the octagon after showing off his punch in a video.
The UFC commentator shared a clip of himself hitting a heavy bag on his Instagram page.
The former taekwondo champion is known for his comedy, commentary, and massive podcast.
While he is known for his work as a commentator, podcast host, and comedian, Rogan is no stranger to martial arts.
The New Jersey native began practicing karate at age 14 and taekwondo a year later. At age 19, Rogan won the US Open Championship taekwondo tournament as a lightweight and eventually became an instructor in the discipline.
Rogan also competed in amateur kickboxing and maintained a 2-1 record before retiring when he was 21 due to frequent headaches and fear of injury.
In the post, Rogan claimed that he was unable to kick for a year due to a knee injury, but recovered with the help of healthcare company Ways2Well.
“I was off kicking for an entire year to deal with a knee injury and thanks to @ways2well I’m now 100% pain free,” Rogan captioned. “The video of me hitting that bag was yesterday, and in the past, if I did it the next day my knee would hurt, but today I feel absolutely perfect.”
‘That bag weighs 130 pounds and the amount of torque generated by kicking at full speed is just crazy. It’s one of my favorite things to do and the best way to release stress, but before @ways2well I felt like I was screwing up my knee more every time I did it. “I can’t thank you enough.”
