On Saturday’s main card at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, Rozenstruik (15-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) defeated Tuivasa (15-8 MMA, 8-8 UFC) via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 30-27).
Judge Howie Booth delivered the dissenting opinion, a surprising assessment in the eyes of many viewers.
The fight remained on the feet throughout the fight, with plenty of punches at range and occasionally in the pocket. The most action came in the second round, when both men landed heavy shots. Tuivasa was bloodied and attempted to “Max Holloway” Rozenstruik with a ground slam in the final seconds, but the result was mostly a lot of movement from both fighters.

Rozenstruik is 2-0 in 2024, aside from a win over Shamil Gaziev in March. He is 2-1 in his last three fights.
With the loss, Tuivasa falls on a five-fight losing streak. His UFC career has been inconsistent, with three wins followed by three losses, then five wins followed by five losses.
