Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a game that follows a Metroidvania structure. It allows players to explore a handcrafted world at their own pace.

The game is inspired by Persian mythology and features different environments such as the majestic Citadel of Knowledge and the colorful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest.

As players progress through the game, they acquire new time powers, unique abilities, and combat skills, which they can use to delve deeper into Mount Qaf. Along the way, they solve puzzles, discover secrets and complete exciting side missions.

Players battle mythical enemies, larger-than-life bosses, and deadly traps. Using a combination of combat and platforming skills, players can defeat time-corrupted creatures such as Jahandar, the dreadful Manticore, who guards the Citadel. The deep and engaging combat system allows players to unleash devastating combos and express their creativity.

As players explore this mythical world, they become fully immersed in the original soundtrack created by Mentrix, an Iranian-born composer who combines traditional instruments with modern sounds to guide players through different environments.
