Uber is guilty of a fatal self-driving crash, but it is not the only one

Federal investigators divided the blame for the fatal Uber self-driving crash between the driving license company, the in-vehicle safety driver, the victim and the state of Arizona in an outrageous official report that also urged the federal government to fail to properly regulate the industry.

During a hearing of the National Traffic Safety Board in Washington, DC on November 19, the three-pronged panel heard from a team of investigators who have been searching the details of the crash for more than a year. At the end of the two and a half hour hearing, the board issued its determination of the likely cause in the event that the autonomous vehicle industry was upset.
