One lucky Uber Exec passenger will have the chance to enjoy a private one-on-one session with Grand Slam legend Cam Norris this July in London.

As tennis fever grips the country, Uber is offering a unique opportunity for passengers who book an Uber Exec in London during July.

The ride-sharing company will offer free tennis lessons to Uber Exec passengers from July 1 to 31.

To sweeten the deal, one lucky rider will also have the chance to take part in a private one-on-one session with Grand Slam legend Cam Norris.

It comes as Wimbledon 2024 kicks off on Monday 1 July, with the sporting event running until Sunday 14 July, with qualifying taking place later this week at the Community Sport Centre in Roehampton.

Uber’s latest initiative celebrates the UK’s rich tennis heritage, which has produced icons such as Fred Perry, Virginia Wade and Andy Murray.

In collaboration with British tennis star Cam Norrie and training organization Tennis 4 You, Uber aims to make the sport accessible to everyone by offering free training sessions for Uber executive passengers throughout July and August.

To be in with a chance, book an Uber Exec in London from 1st to 31st July and you’ll be in with a chance of winning a free tennis session.

Additionally, riders will be entered into a draw to win a one-hour private lesson with Norrie, 28, a former Wimbledon semi-finalist and one of Britain’s best players.

Cameron Norrie said: “Not only is tennis incredibly fun, it also has life-changing health benefits, so I’m delighted to be partnering with Uber to bring my love of the sport to even more Brits this year.”

“It’s incredibly important that we support grassroots tennis in the UK and, who knows, we might just start someone on a new path to Wimbledon!”

“We are thrilled to be working with Cameron Norrie to provide Uber passengers with a true executive experience this summer.”

It comes after tennis bosses at Wimbledon refused to ban alcohol on court, saying fans at the All-England Club can control their drinking, in contrast to France’s Roland Garros with its rowdy crowds.

There have been some calls for drastic measures to allow spectators to drink alcohol while sitting in the stands at major tennis events after bad behavior.

And last month organizers of the French Open at Roland Garros in Paris banned people from drinking wine or beer in their seats during the middle of the event.
