A 52-year-old Uber driver was accused of indecently attacking a woman in southwest Sydney yesterday.
The 23-year-old woman was picked up by the Hyundai I20 from the driver of an Ambarvale house around 5:15 am Sunday.
During the trip, the woman, who had been asked to be taken to a home in Camden, was allegedly attacked indecently by the driver.
A 52-year-old driver was accused of assaulting a woman in south-west Sydney yesterday, who allegedly grabbed the 23-year-old arm while trying to leave his car.
When she tried to leave the vehicle, the man allegedly grabbed her arm and tried to stop her.
She fled to a nearby house and around 12:40 pm Sunday, police stopped a car on Queen Street, Campbelltown and arrested the man.
The man, from Ambarvale, was taken to the Narellan police station where he was charged with two charges of indecent assault.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
The indictment comes after an Uber driver was arrested on Aug. 27 and charged with raping a teenager, after she slept in the back of her car in downtown Sydney.
