- Paris Fury was seen present at the final press conference of Fury vs Usyk
- Fury revealed earlier this week that he hadn’t spoken to his wife for three months.
Tyson Fury’s wife Paris was present at the press conference as the Gypsy King prepares for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
After suffering the first defeat of his career when he fought the Ukrainian over 12 rounds in May, Fury embarked on a period of family seclusion to prepare for the rematch.
The 36-year-old claimed earlier this week that he had not spoken to Paris for three months as he holed up in his training camp.
Fury’s ‘beast mode’ mentality extends to his physical appearance as well. Having sported a clean-shaven look of late, the Gypsy King has completely flipped the script.
Speaking about his training camp, Fury told TNT Sports host Dev Sahni: “It’s been a long camp. I’ve been away from my wife and kids for three months, I haven’t spoken to Paris in three months, not one word. Yes, I have sacrificed a lot.
However, at the final press conference before Saturday’s blockbuster showdown, Fury was reunited with Paris, his wife of 16 years.
Paris Fury was present as Tyson Fury engaged in an intense stare-down with Oleksandr Usyk.
The pair had to be removed after going toe to toe for over ten minutes at the final press conference before their heavyweight rematch.
Fury claimed earlier this week that he hasn’t spoken to his wife in three months as he locked himself in for training camp.
Paris was flanked by her son Prince and Fury’s half-brother Tommy as they took their seats in the front row.
He then watched from the crowd as Fury and Usyk engaged in an intense staredown to close the event, with the confrontation lasting over ten minutes.
The warring rivals finally parted ways as they prepared to enter the ring at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena on Saturday.
Speaking during the event, Fury was unusually concise in his comments, as he promised that he was solely focused on the task at hand.
“I have nothing to say other than there will be a lot of pain and hurt in this fight you are watching.” Fury insisted.
‘That’s all I have to say. It has been spoken. You know, in the first fight I talked, I joked, throughout my entire career.
‘This time I’m serious. I’m going to cause some damn damage here on Saturday night. Watch me work on this damn thing.’
