Tyson Fury’s immediate reaction to Anthony Joshua’s second-round knockout of Francis Ngannou went viral after Friday night’s fight.
Fury was sitting ringside alongside his wife Paris and promoter Frank Warren as AJ entered the ring to face Fury’s old enemy Ngannou.
While Ngannou looked impressive against Fury, Joshua made light work of the former UFC champion, knocking him down three times in two rounds.
The third fall ended with Ngannou, who was unable to get up, while AJ claimed the victory.
Fury, sitting ringside, couldn’t help but applaud Joshua after his right hook sent Ngannou to the ground without response.

Fans have taken to social media to discuss Fury’s immediate reaction to the knockout, with some suggesting the blow surprised him.
“Tyson Fury was shocked after AJ’s knockout,” one user wrote. “He was stunned and had to applaud Antony Joshua.”
Speaking after the brutal knockout, Fury gave credit to Joshua when he said: “I had an incredible performance against Ngannou.” “AJ did absolutely fantastic and lit it up with a right hand.”
However, the Gypsy King predicts that he will still defeat his fellow Britons if they want to fight.
“If he fights me after I beat Usyk twice, it will be a different game,” he concluded.
While Fury showed his class by applauding the knockout, Joshua wasted no time in calling him out.
‘When you win, you move on to the next one, right? I’m not even talking about victory. “Move to the next one, go away,” Joshua said after the fight.
‘If I was the old AJ, it would have just been force against force. It would have taken years off my career.
‘Fury, Usky, if you want me you can come knock on my door.’
The winner of Fury’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk is expected to face Joshua in the future.
