Tyreek Hill apparently laughed at a controversial Halloween costume that recreated his Week 1 arrest in Miami.
On Thursday, a trio of children went viral after two dressed up as police officers while handcuffing the third dressed in a Hill Dolphins jersey and football gear.
While users on social media criticized the image for ridiculing the controversial traffic stop, the star wide receiver responded lightly to the group’s costume.

The inspiration for the image took place outside Hard Rock Stadium before Miami’s season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
NFL star Tyreek Hill reacted to a Halloween costume that recreated his Week 1 arrest in Miami.
Hill was taken from his car, handcuffed and pinned to the ground near Hard Rock Stadium.
During a traffic stop, the receiver was pulled from his car and pinned to the ground while handcuffed.
While he was released and scored a touchdown in the 20-17 victory, the excessive force used by the officers during his arrest drew much criticism from fans and the media.
“This story with the police involving @cheetah is not going away dammit,” Stephen A. Smith wrote before drawing comparisons to Scottie Scheffler’s arrest in May. ‘Traffic violation? Good. But when he was face down, handcuffed, he stood up and then the other officer runs after him and forces him to the ground again? Hell no! Excessive! Mistaken! Again, this is not going away.”
“Look it up yourself,” Smith added. ‘This is bs. Totally unnecessary. And by the way…I know that the Scottie Scheffler incident occurred in Georgia, not Florida, and he was arrested, detained, and booked.
Cheetah later addressed the incident in a one-on-one interview with Taylor Rooks. He then admitted that he had not approached the situation in the best way, which led to unnecessary harshness.
Hill was later released and scored a touchdown to help Miami defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, he also revealed that one of the police officers was trying to get a reaction from him during his arrest.
“I tried to meet in the middle and say, ‘Here’s my ID,’ and I’ll get out of my window with barely any negotiation.” It’s crazy to think about it now. Does that give you the right to remove me from my car? No. It doesn’t give them the right to put their hands on me, to make me angry.
‘A lot of that happened… every time they handcuffed me behind my back, the officer pinched my neck. Like trying to get him to do something to her.
“I just feel like this doesn’t represent the name on the back of my jersey the right way,” Hill added. “The other side of the coin is that it’s great because I have the opportunity to at least try to raise awareness about (what) this whole county has been trying to fix for the last decade.”
‘You have advantages and disadvantages in every situation, it all depends on what you are doing. You learn from your situation, you take responsibility. How can you improve?
“Let’s not be angry, let’s learn,” Hill tells his family. Because the angrier we get, I feel like it sets us back. “It is about responsibility on both sides.”
After their opening day win, the Dolphins have struggled and are 2-5, sitting in third place in the AFC East.
