Tyreek Hill breaks his silence after Dolphins star was handcuffed and beaten by police in dramatic scenes

Tyreek Hill insists he has “no idea” why police pinned him against the crowd and handcuffed him as he headed to the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The receiver scored an 80-yard touchdown just hours after being pulled over by police in dramatic scenes. He was reportedly ordered to stop after being cited for “reckless driving.”

Then, in a shocking video, it appears that an official punched him. After the game, Hill spoke out about the ordeal and vowed to “learn” from it.

“So when I left the house, I told my wife, ‘Honey, I’m going to go to work and get ready for my day,'” he told CBS.

“I didn’t know I was in for a big surprise, man. But you know what? At the end of the day, I have a job to do and my job is to walk into this stadium and be great.”

Asked what exactly had happened, Hill said: “I’m not going to comment on that. We’re just going to let the past be behind us, move on and learn from it.”

Hill gave another interview when he told reporters he had “no idea” why police were handcuffing him.

When told that one of the officers involved has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, the receiver added: “That should tell you everything you need to know.”
