Tyreek Hill's arrival at the stadium on Thursday was dramatically different than last weekend.

Tyreek Hill has successfully avoided any pregame drama on his way to Hard Rock Stadium for tonight’s game against the Bills, arriving without incident just four days after his dramatic traffic stop.

The Miami Dolphins star wide receiver was dragged out of his car and to the ground by a police officer the last time he drove to Hard Rock Stadium, but he managed to successfully navigate his route to the parking lot for the Week 2 game.

All eyes were on Hill to make sure there was no similar situation on Thursday night, after she dominated news headlines all week in the wake of her dramatic incident on Sunday afternoon.

And all fears were allayed when he smiled for the cameras as he walked into the stadium alongside teammate Terron Armstead a few hours before the game.

He wore a white Adidas tracksuit and a huge NFL chain, while listening to music on his AirPods.

On Sunday, Hill was detained by police, dragged from her car, pinned to the ground and placed in handcuffs before a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with footage from the Police Overlay revealing the full extent of the situation.

Speaking on Wednesday, Hill claimed that representatives for the officer at his detention centre had “tried to apologise but we declined”, before the story took another bizarre twist on Thursday.

The officer’s name is Danny Torres, and his attorneys have now contradicted Hill, stating, “Neither Officer Torres, nor his legal representatives, attorneys, or anyone speaking on his behalf have had any communication with Mr. Hill, his attorney, or his representatives.”

Torres has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into the incident, and a furious discussion has since erupted on social media over whether Hill was in the wrong for his role in the incident.

Hill called for the officer to be fired for what he called “excessive” force against him.

“After a careful and thorough review of multiple body cameras and videos from concerned citizens that captured the unfortunate events that occurred on Sunday, September 8, 2024, between several Miami Dade Police Department officers and Tyreek Hill, we demand the immediate termination of the officer who has been placed on administrative leave,” Hill said in a statement through attorney Julius B. Collins.

But the Dolphins star also accepted that he should have behaved differently.

Asked if he could have been more cooperative with police, the 30-year-old said: ‘I have family members that we’ve had conversations with.

“My thing is that I don’t want to draw attention to myself. I don’t want cameras or phones pointing at me at that moment.

‘But at the end of the day I’m human, I have to follow the rules and do what everyone else would do.

“Now, does that give them the right to beat the shit out of me? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and do things a little differently.”

On Sunday, Hill was released in time to face the Jaguars. He scored an 80-yard touchdown that helped Miami rally for a 20-17 victory. The wide receiver celebrated the goal by mimicking being handcuffed.
