A Christmas Day tragedy in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, left two women dead and two others seriously injured in a brutal stabbing. Jazwell Brown, 49, has been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and additional charges related to the violent attack.
Thames Valley Police were called to a apartment on santa cruz avenue shortly after 6:30 pm on December 25. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24. Both women were residents of Milton Keynes and were pronounced dead at the scene.
A teenager and a man in his 20s were also seriously injured. They were rushed to hospital and are currently in stable condition. In addition to the human victims, a dog was injured during the incident. “Fortunately, the animal survived.” Thames Valley Police stated.
After a quick investigation, authorities arrested Brown on December 27. He has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a knife blade/pointed article in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
Brown, of Santa Cruz Avenue, appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on December 28. According to the bbche only confirmed his name, age and address during the brief hearing. He is due to appear at Luton Crown Court on December 31.
Milton Keynes city councilor Shazna Muzammil expressed her sadness at the tragedy. “This is horrible on Christmas Day and we are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events in Bletchley,” he wrote. on X (formerly Twitter). “Our thoughts are with the families, friends and neighbors of the two women who tragically lost their lives.”
He assured the community that the parties involved knew each other and encouraged residents to seek support from a visible police presence in the area. “There will be a significant police presence as investigations continue.
