Two women were rushed to hospital after the driver of a car that crashed into a daycare center reportedly suffered a medical episode.
The Mazda crashed into a hedge outside Burdekin Court nursery school, in Wattle Grove, in Sydney’s southwest, about 5.40pm on Thursday.
The 25-year-old driver reportedly suffered a medical issue behind the wheel moments before the accident. No children were injured.
The driver and her 78-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and were momentarily trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency services freed the women and rushed them to Liverpool Hospital.
A New South Wales Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that officers are still investigating what may have caused the incident.
“The structure of the building was damaged, however there were no reports of other people being injured,” the spokeswoman said.
“Investigations have been launched into the circumstances of the accident.”

Footage from the scene showed the black hatchback next to an outside wall of the nursery after crashing into a hedge.
The car had crossed a public sidewalk and grass before crashing.
Several hedges and plants in front of the center were damaged in the incident.
