Two women have been hospitalized after an incident involving one of Outback Wrangler star Matt Wright’s Top End Safari Camp airboats.
The boat crashed near the camp’s base at Sweets Lagoon in the Bynoe region, about 118 km southwest of Darwin, at about 11:15 am on Wednesday morning.
Two passengers in the boat, women aged 54 and 43, were transported by helicopter to the Royal Darwin Hospital shortly after the crash.
It is believed that one woman is being treated for a head injury and the other suffered a leg injury, NT News reports.
It is understood that 12 passengers were aboard the wrecked boat.

A spokesman for the camp said: “We will work with authorities to review the incident in due course.
“At the moment, our focus is solely on supporting the passengers and employees involved.”
NT WorkSafe said staff have already launched an investigation into the incident.
“Inspectors are currently at the scene of the incident and have begun an investigation into the incident to determine the appropriate regulatory response,” a spokesman said.
The news comes just 15 months after Mr Wright’s Outback Wrangler TV series co-star Chris ‘Willow’ Wilson, 34, was killed in a helicopter crash.
Mr Wilson was dangling from a helicopter to collect crocodile eggs in West Arnhem Land when the plane collided with trees and crashed to the ground, killing him.
Mr Wright and two other men have since been charged with allegedly destroying evidence following the fatal crash.
