Two teenage sisters were raped by four men on a firearm murder on Tuesday evening near the northeastern city of Muzaffarnagar in India, police claim.
The sisters, 13 and 15 years old, were looking for their mother in a sugar cane field when the four men attacked them in Kaserwa village, the chief police inspector (rural), Alok Sharma said on Wednesday.
Four men said they would shoot the girls if they called for help or told someone about the attack, they say.
The men have been charged and arrest warrants have been issued, Mr. Sharma added.

It comes as the last in a series of rapes about minors in the Indian region of Uttar Pradesh in recent weeks.
The region, which lies on the outskirts of the country along the Nepalese border, may introduce increased police surveillance in an attempt to stop the attacks.
Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister, Yogi Adityanath, has asked police to strengthen rural patrols to protect minors.
The attack comes just a day after an eight-year-old girl was raped by the group in the in the Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday evening.
Two teenagers, neighbors of the girl, 15 and 16 years old, are in custody of the attack.
The child was attacked when she went to bathe in the village canal on Tuesday afternoon.
The two young people would have dragged her to a remote place and raped her before she left her bleeding in pain to stumble home with her parents who brought her to the hospital.
Doctors suspected the girl had been raped and after explaining what happened, the hospital staff contacted the police who immediately arrested the two boys.
